Warning for Elizabeth!

Elizabeth! Do NOT look at the pictures for March 25 & 24! Repeat: Do NOT look at the pictures for March 25 & 24! Just scroll down a ways to be safe.

You've been warned!

Your mental health will thank me later.

Day Thirty-one-- March 25

This is what happens to my study area when I'm working on papers.

Day Thirty -- March 24

Had my first blood work of year 26 done that day.

And to my dear American friends, this is what happens when you have a single payer health care system: after going to the doctor that you choose, to the lab that you choose, for a bunch of tests, they use medical tape instead of a bandage! Medical tape! Oh, the horror! the horror!

Day Twenty-Nine -- March 23

Post-Family Law Class. Is S posing or dismayed by the action of the male gender that our professor ranted about that day?

Day Twenty-Eight -- March 22

Can you guess what it is?

Lets just say this is what happens when you don't know that there is a piece of cheese in your sink by a sponge and you some hot water in your sink...

Day Twenty-Seven - March 21

I went to the library and did some research with books. Its been awhile since I had to look something up in a book in a school library.

Day Twenty-Six March 20

I did laundry. I did laundry at my apartment at school. Its shocking I know. I was able to get through undergrad without having to do my laundry at school, but I failed early on at law school with that. I had run out of pants again that day, hence the laundry.

Day Twenty-Five March 19

Spring!

Day Twenty-Four March 18

For three years I've been involved with the Windsor Review of Social and Legal Issues. March 18 was our end of year dinner. My last even with the WRSLI. It was bittersweet and the food was good except we never got any bread! It was at the Windsor Art Gallery, and the balcony had a wonderful view of downtown Detroit. The distance hides all of Detroit's scars and wounds.

Day Twenty-three -March 17

It was St. Patrick's Day. I wore green and decorated my apartment. The borg-bear, Ewok, and Winnie also got into the spirit of things.

Day Twenty-two -- March 16

Look! A blue sky! It doesn't happen with much frequency in the Windsor/Detroit area. We get a lot of grey skies. Not only was it a blue sky, but it was also a gorgeous day weather wise. It made me not hate spring as much for a few hours.

Day Twenty-One -- March 15

So Shelby, being the amazing and considerate girl that she is, had custom die made for our gaming group. We each got a "when" dice ("immediately", "tomorrow", "before SOL [statute of limitations] runs", "before Orcus returns", "in a minute" and "2 months ago"), a "what" dice ("mediate", "appeal", "abandon", "settle", "sue" and "divine intervention") and a matching D20. And if that wasn't enough she gave us all bags that she had embroidered with our alter ego's name! A tip of my hat to you Shelby! Thank you again.

Day Twenty -- March 14

Sunday was not all that exciting. I pretty much spent the day reading my Family Law textbook and freaking out. When I eventually looked outside at 1 am, this is what I saw. And I sound pathetic...

Day Nineteen -- March 13

We celebrated Radan, aka that Totally Awesome Guy, by going to ShinShin and then bowling. I learnt where all the locals go after the mall closes at 5 on Saturday; bowling. I'm not what you would call a good bowler. It was not one of my familys' activities and I'm a little out of my element at bowling alleys. But I did enjoy when it became cosmic bowling later in the evening. Who doesn't love when you glow in the dark? Diego is doing a happy dance, while Monica (who I met that night) looks on. Laura made a cake that had an actual train going around on it. Fun times had by all.

Day Eighteen -- March 12

We played the Battlestar Galatica boardgam and I was a Cylon for the first time. Unfortunately, I had to reveal myself at the moment I found out I was a Cylon (halfway through the game) so I didn't get to be subversive. But the Cylons did win, and humanity was destroyed. Bwhahahaha

Day Seventeen -- March 11

This is the one wing of the moot court where I have class on Thursday and where I have had many, many classes. I was one of the last ones out.

Day Sixteen -- March 10

The last moments before I opened up the Belgian chocolates mom brought me back from Belgium in February. Also known as heaven in a box.

Day Fifteen - March 9

March 9 was a strange day. I had driven back to Cambridge the night before for a doctor's appointment on the 9th. Dad was home from Toronto at "normal person" dinner time on a weekday. Dad and Mark are about to decide how to make home more not like home. Again. Sigh.

Day Fourteen -- March 8

She doesn't like her picture taken but she gave me the most marvelous birthday present a few minutes before! We met halfway between my apartment and the law school on a gorgeous day.

Day Thirteen -- March 7

Diego and Sina (not pictured) enjoyed the sunset over the Ambassador Bridge as we walked to the JD/LLB awards ceremony. And yes, I won best Halloween Costume!

Day Twelve -- March 6

We ate. People came over. There was cake. Fun time had by all! And somehow Laura found a bottle of ginger ale in my stuff to the brink fridge that wasn't flat. Thanks for the cake Laura.

Day Eleven -- March 5

I spent most of the day shopping with Laura and Cheryl. Not everything would fit into the truck and there ended up barely being room for Cheryl in the back! A lot of that was food. And then I went out for dinner with Cheryl and Andrew. The height of logic!

Day Ten -- March 4

Vancouver Sara and I are reading Alice and Wonderland together. I was on the second chapter on the second day.

Day Nine - March 3

Notice the "all"? I must admit that I was quite proud of that nomination. My class is doing an award ceremony on Sunday in the year book style. Personally my favourite costume of mine of the past three Halloweens was "girl being eaten by a shark" but I am still fond of Sally (Nightmare Before Christmas), Gothic Fairy and Evil SnowWhite. Sorry Diego, I voted for myself.

Picture edited to preserve the privacy of my classmates.

Day Eight - March 2

That is my freezer, with all the food I'm going to be eating for about the next month or so. Thank you Mom!

Day seven -- March 1

This is my dragon guarding my laptop and my paper while I slept.

Day Six -- February 28

This is my organization system when I'm working on a paper. Piles on the floor. Each pile means something and the overlapping signals something too.

Day Five -- February 27

This is the Main Street bridge in Cambridge (downtown Galt). I got to ring the bell in that church when I was four, it was pretty fun.

Day Four -- February 26

I always see my God-father around my birthday. This year he took me to see my God-sister, we went out for dinner and Madeline's husband joined us (he's taking the picture).
