Day Seventy Seven -- May 10

The flowers my sisters and I got my mom for Mother's Day. I, according to tradition waiting until the last minute after several "its a fake holiday" rants before getting her anything. So the flowers were delivered a day late. Surprise!

Day Seventy Six -- May 9

So I finally went to the BBQ place in Windsor that I had heard about for years and it was delicious. I had a fine night out with Qian, Jung and Stephanie.

Day Seventy Five -- May 8

I too my parents to Gilligan's and had my last delicious burger in Windsor. I had half for lunch and this is the half I took home.

Day Seventy Two - May 5

Laura and I went dress shopping. The dress on the right I wore to my UDM Commencement and to my Windsor Convocation.

Day Seven One -- May 4

Spring comes early in Windsor and walks provided a nice study break. Despite three years in Windsor, I still cannot understand how people fish in the Detroit River and then eat the fish. Ick.

Day Seventy - May 3

The Binders of Hell. What we had to learn in about 6 weeks.

Day Sixty Nine -- May 2

So fun books were so much easier to read than the Bar Ads material.

Day Sixty Eight -- May 1

Two delicious cake at a birthday bbq for Anna. Since it was Windsor, it was warm May bbq.

Day Sixty Seven - April 30

Study time! And the beginning of the boredom.

Day Sixty Six -- April 29

I returned to Windsor to find my EvelynEvelyn bundle waiting for me. Excited!

Day Sixty Five -- April 28

Spring is definitely here!

Day Sixty-Four -- April 27

This is Osgoode, the home to the Law Society. I had to go in person to pick up my Bar Ads study material.

Day Sixty-Three -- April 26

A planter.

Day Sixty-Two -- April 25

I've been going to the same Nursery with my parents to buy plants every years since I was little. Every year I go to see the parrot. This is the parrot. The parrot is older than me and maybe just long from tail to head.

Day Sixty-One -- April 24th

I came home for the weekend because I had to pick up my Bar Ads study material and I may (or not) have forgotten to have them mailed to me.
And the Nature frolic was enjoyable.

Day Sixty -- April 23rd

Me, Sina and his imaginary American friends! And I finally made it to karaoke, but the big D didn't!

Day Fifty-Nine - April 22

This picture is 3 years in the making on a distant planet after we travelled through a wormhole.

We took this picture after our last Detroit adventure. Every time we drove by we said we were going to take this picture and we finally did!

Day Fifty-Eight - April 21

Shelby, Corwin and I were the only ones to show up for our last D&D. Instead, Corwin went back to work on his essay. Shelby and I decided to have sugar and thoughtless fun. So we got blizzards from DQ (half price) and rented 2012 (our dumb, thoughtless fun). Shelby after not thinking for a couple of hours in celebration of her last exam!

Day Fifty-Seven - April 20

Spooky Spring.

Day Fifty-Six -- April 19

Day Fifty-Five -- April 18

Spring!

Saturday, July 24, 2010

Day Fifty-Four -- April 17

I cam back to law school to discover this had been done to my room. It is all brown.

Day Fifty-Three - April 16

Celebrating the end of Family Law and my last law school exam.

Day Fifty-Two April 15

Last study group of law school on the eve of the Family Law exam.

Day Fifty-One - April 14

So much to memorize for Family law.

Day Fifty -- April 13

Studying. Again. I have moved onto Family law this time.

Monday, July 19, 2010

Day Forty-Nine -- April 12

The blue book on the left if my Real Estate text book, put on the shelf for the last time after the exam.

Day Forty-Eight -- April 11

My finished outline and its tabbed! Below are tabbed copies of my class notes and reading notes. And it was waaaaaay too late when I took this pictures.

Day Forty-Seven -- April 10

Study Time!

Studying for Real Estate got a little messy. The biggest thing I learnt? Real Estate law involves a lot of paper!

Sunday, May 9, 2010

Day Forty-Six -- April 9

My last law school essay ever, ready to be handed in. This is perhaps the last essay of my academic career as well. It is weird to say that.

Wednesday, May 5, 2010

Day Forty-Five -- April 8

So a piece of the plastic casing of my MacBook popped off. I used masking tap to cover it up so I would not cut myself on the plastic. (And since its me it is a very credible threat).

Day Forty-four -- April 7

I worked on a paper. It rained. The tress are starting to bloom!

Day Forth-three April 6

This would have been a nice picture of Centre Block had the bus and car not gone by precisely at the moment I was taking the picture. I had to get to the airport to fly back to Windsor so I didn't wait around to retake it. I had dinner with my brother-in-law at a pub right across the street from Parliament. I was in Ottawa for a job interview (which I got).

Day Forty-two -- April 5

I was packing for my "there and back again" trip to Ottawa the next day and it took me a while to figure out what bag to bring.

Day Forty-one -- April 4

Easter Monday and this is what the Easter Bunny brought me.

Day Forty -- April 3

I didn't go home for Easter this year. My grandmother is an excellent baker and I usually fill up on her desserts. The day before, L & T and I discovered a bakery and I found some substitutes for my own Easter dinner. Well I didn't eat all of them on Easter. But its a good thing that we didn't know this place existed before!

Day Thirty-nine -- April 2

The fire alarm went off in my building. I managed to be on the third person out of the building despite living on the 8th floor and packing my laptop, textbook and wallet into my backpack. It was amusing watching all the people came out very slowly. Then we speculated on when and if the fire department was going to show up. The system malfunctioned, but the 40 minute response time didn't exactly instill confidence in me. And since the building is mostly law students we discussed the liabilities potential of the response time if it had been a real fire.

Day Thirty - Eight -- April 1

My mom came for a quick visit and she helped me repair my dresser. Why do Ikea dressers never last long?

Day Thirty-seven -- March 31

The view of the Renaissance Centre from the UDM parking lot. It was also the last UDM class that I attended.

Saturday, April 3, 2010

Day Thirty-six -- March 30

Sina returned to school after battling the Zombie plague, hopefully he's still one of us.

Day Thirty-five March 29

I love the moon.

Day Thirty-four -- March 28

The Canadian Geese have returned!

Day Thirty-three -- March 27

I was doing my exercises for my knee.

Day Thirty-two -- March 26

We went out for Sushi to celebrate Helen's birthday.

Sunday, March 28, 2010

Warning for Elizabeth!

Elizabeth! Do NOT look at the pictures for March 25 & 24! Repeat: Do NOT look at the pictures for March 25 & 24! Just scroll down a ways to be safe.

You've been warned!

Your mental health will thank me later.

Day Thirty-one-- March 25

This is what happens to my study area when I'm working on papers.

Day Thirty -- March 24

Had my first blood work of year 26 done that day.

And to my dear American friends, this is what happens when you have a single payer health care system: after going to the doctor that you choose, to the lab that you choose, for a bunch of tests, they use medical tape instead of a bandage! Medical tape! Oh, the horror! the horror!

Day Twenty-Nine -- March 23

Post-Family Law Class. Is S posing or dismayed by the action of the male gender that our professor ranted about that day?
